Hi

I'm taking Birth Control pills and in the first week of my pack was prescribed antibiotics....I was also ovulating at this time and had unprotected sex twice. i have continued with my pills but now have a small bleed which is brown. Is this normal i am hoping it is caused by the antibiotics and that I haven't lost a baby in the very early stages of the egg implanting as I have had a strange sensation of tickling underneath my skin in my stomach at night only and some stabbing pains.

what makes you say you were ovulating? Ovulation (keep in mind you dont actually ovulate ovulate while on the pill) would be most likely to occur during ur second week. at any rate most antibiotics DO decrease the pills effectiveness and you should always use condoms for the couse of the meds and at least 7 days after- the bleeding could be for a number of reasons but u wont be able to find out if pregnancy is possiable until the end of your pack- you can take a first response test as early as 5 days b4 but its not 99% effective until your first day of ur missed period- good luck= please follow up if u can[/i]
