| Hi, I've had recurring vaginal infection for months now. First I was tested for Chlamydia & it turned out negative. I was prescribed Flagystatin after, the odor & discharge went away for a couple of months then slowly it went back. I had myself checked again & I was prescribed Azithromycin which I took for 3 days plus Albothyl suppositories. Again, it went away for a while then it went back. Now I'm taking Doxicycline for 14 days, I'm on my 9th day, the discharge & odor are still there. Could it be possible my system got immuned with the medication? Doctor said it's just an STI. Could it be more serious than just an infection? What alternative medication should I take aside from what I've already taken? |
