Antibotics not working for tonsilitis

Hello! I have tonsillitis and I am taking antibiotics. Last time when I had tonsillitis my doctor prescribed me antibiotics; so, this time I did not visited him, just bought same medication as he prescribed last time. But, I can tell you that antibiotics not working for tonsillitis. I do not know why. What do you think about this? Thanks!

Hello! First of all, you must not take medications on your own! You need to visit your doctor! I assume that this time you probably do not have bacterial tonsillitis as you had it last time, so that is why antibiotics do not work. As I already mentioned, you will need to visit your doctor and he will prescribe you appropriate treatment.
