Hello everyone, I am new and very discouraged. I was diagnosed with HPV last year after 30 years of great pap smears. I guess the virus can lay dormant for a long time. I am an older woman, of menopause age.
Anyway...I also have pre-cancerous vaginal cells. My old doctor painted the vaginal area with aldara cream. I could not begin to tell you what happened, only to say that the vaginal tissue NEVER recovered and I have now gotten myself an attorney.

I have a great new doctor, and we are supposed to re-do my biopsy at the end of this month, because the last biopsy said "Not enough tissue for diagnostic evaluation." Anyway.....NOW, my doctor tried intra-vaginal compounded 10 percent hydrocordisone cream. I over used that...and now my vaginal area has all these little vestibles and white dead skin!
I am using vaseline only for now, but I wondered if anyone has a similar experience or advice for me? The doctor just saw me 2 days ago...as I could not imagine what was wrong with me AGAIN, and you know how scared you get that some other STD will pop up, but she said this is clearly dead skin..and a VERY atrophied vagina/tissue Sad I just keep getting new dead skin areas and I am so discouraged as I said...
Thanks..
Wishing you all well..
