Anyone heard of a Yag posterior laser capsulotomy?

Last year I had a cataract surgery. And now my diagnosis is posterior capsular opacification. I have to go to Yag posterior laser capsulotomy. I really don’t know what it is. I need to prepare myself for it but I don’t know how. Anyone heard of a Yag posterior laser capsulotomy? Is it effective?

YAG laser posterior capsulotomy is a procedure performed on the eye to remove the cloudiness that develops after extraction of a cataract. Don’t worry, it’s not painful at all. After surgery you should use pressure-lowering eyedrops for a week. Once the opacification is removed, most patients will not need a change in spectacle prescription.
