DO NOT. I REPEAT...DO NOT go to Oleh Slupchynskyj. He is very unprofessional. I came in to do a procedure and he was unprepared. Forgot the equipment he was going to use. I drove out to his jersey office for no reason. Lost a day of work and he didn’t even apologize. I would never ever trust him. He even looks like an idiot. He has this blank stare and seems very sleazy. Yuk!

I had my lip reduction done in NYC 9 months ago (both lips) and the top lip is still super swollen. I was wondering if anyone knows of something I can do to reduce the swelling at this point, besides a hot washcloth inside the lip.

Thanks!

A hot wash cloth? I would have thought Ice would be the right thing to use to reduce swelling. I'm suprised there is still sweling after 9months. You might want to check out makemeheal.com to see if they have products on swelling. Did you like the results you had so far?

Hey check out Dr Andrew Klapper... i dont know much but he did seem to make a lot of empahises on lip reduction. He's in NY
Hello, I am an AfricanAmerican female with large lips. I am not happy with them. However, I live in Ohio. It is difficult to find a qualified Dr.who has performed several lip reduction procedures. From all the literature I have read, it consistently suggest to make sure the surgeon have many successful surgeries under their belt.
hi all, i am a guy who live in Canada (toronto) area. I have seen a lovely lady whom user name is "Best" mentioned that she had her OP done in Toronto area. I really hope "best" or any other person who had experienced lip reduction sugery in Toronto area can give me some information about good surgeons in Toronto. I really appreciate it and i wish all of you the best
The surgeon did not mark my lips before I went under. I don't know whether he actually did so before he perform the surgery. Maybe this is what caused the asymmetry.

Hi there!
I know you posted thi a long time ago. But since you might be getting a secondry treatment on your lip reduction. I thought you migth check out Dr Klapper I read this part about his lip reduction procedures
"Once you have been evaluated and a surgical solution offered the key points of your procedure are as follows:
* Local blocks will be administered precisely to the nerves of your face so that you feel no pain.
* Markings to the lip will consist of skin marks and then you will be temporarily tattooed so that the many corners of your W-Plasty excision will stay visible during your procedure and precise cuts can be made.
* Your surgery will be done in our AAAASF operating room.
