Wondering about doing this, I am Irish and Italian for some reason I ended up with large lips could be from all the trama and stuff from busting my lips open all the time and stuff when I was a child.
anyways, i am looking for as much information on the subject as possible before going looking for this to be done, my family all have small lips compared to mine and I'd like mine to be similar.
Has anyone in NY done it with great results who would recommend their doctor that had it done. |

|

I just had the lip reduction surgery a few days ago and I deeply regret it. I wish I had done more research on it. I am in so much pain and the swelling is so awful. It cost me over $4000.00 and I already feel it was not worth the money or the trouble. My face is swollen and my lips are numb and sore. I am slobbering all over my self when I try to drink water or even eat a piece of bread. I am stuck in my house until the swelling goes down. I should have bought myself a cute little used car for $4000.00 |

Hi guys,
I just had a lower lip reduction procedure yesrday and from what I can tell there is immediate improvement in size. This is usually not the case most of the time at this stage unless you're doing a reconstructive procedure, because the swelling is immense, however, the swelling I enoutered has been very symetric and appears to be still smaller than my previous state.
I found a surgeon that is incredibly skilled in the procedure searching over the past year that has written several articles on the topic. He is skilled in ethnic, bi-racial and western procedures, so he is a true student of this procedure. The procedure is much a work of art as it is for medical skill, I suggest you guys look for that when you search for a surgeon.
I paid a hefty penny (still less than $3k), but you honestly pay for what you get in most cases. When the results are final, I will post more. I am located in Texas by the way. |
