My father had a stroke. He is in hospital and I still don’t know will he be ok. His doctor told me that he will need a time to see consequences of the stroke. He mentioned cerebral arteriography. I’m not sure that I know what it is. Anyone underwent cerebral arteriography?
I know what it is and I will try to explain to you. In cerebral arteriography, a catheter is threaded through the major arteries of the trunk and into the carotid or vertebral artery. A fluid is injected into your blood. It shows up on an X-ray. Any weak or narrow points or blockages will show up.
