Hi guys! I didnt realize this happens so often! I ALSO had my nose done (different doctor) and my nose is now SIGNIFICANTLY worse!! The catscan showed a severe deviated septum to the left. i just went to a consultation with Dr Guida and felt he didnt really spend much time talking with me about the end result. I am begining to get really nervous since this is the second time around and after the surgery i will be virtually broke.

Is it ok if i ask you how your nose is doing now after having surgery with Dr Guida? How was recovery time? were you in alot of pain afterwards?

Thanks so much!

Dr. Guida is absolutely fantastic. I have had two surgeries with him- the first was reconstructive rhinoplasty, as my nose was broken in two places, and a septoplasty for a pretty significant deviation. The second surgery was about 2 weeks ago and that was for sinus reasons only. I am extremely happy with the results from both surgeries; no one ever expects that I've had a nose job either, so that's a plus, and I've also had numerous people say that they think I have a great nose. Ha, little do they know.. But anyway, Dr. Guida has my full confidence and I'm sure he'll do a great job. If you still have questions, I would just call and ask to speak with him. It is totally understandable that you would like to have your questions answered before going under. I think that although he is very nice, he can seem a little wierd sometimes so it can be slightly more difficult to talk to him if you have further questions but he really is excellent at what he does.

Hope this helps; I know you posted this a few weeks ago.

I also have the same breathing issues caused by a saddle nose deformity created by Dr. Kevin Shaw in Boca Raton, FL during a septoplasty/rhinoplasty procedure. I've had to live with this for over 3 years now. Since then, I have moved to NYC and have gone to several ENT specialists that have all told me I have an even more deviated septum and collapsed nasal passage due to the fact that too much cartilage had been removed!! I am not longer able to sue this Dr. because of statute laws in Florida and I am in desperate need of a good plastic surgeon to fix this problem. It's so stressful!! You do not know who to trust these days!!

I also have too much cartilage on the tip of my nose, furthermore giving the appearane of a greyed area between the bridge and the tip...so frustrating!! Not to mention I cannot breathe through my left nostril at all!! I was looking into Dr. Philips and Dr. Guida as possible plastic surgeons to go to for help. Can anyone give me any good advice that has been to these doctor's and how much they charged for the inital consultation and procedure? I am assuming part of this should at least be covered by insurance. Has anyone had any exp with either of these doctors?

Thanks!!

FOR ANY ONE OUT THERE CONSIDERING PLASTIC SURGERY, I WOULD FIRST SEARCH A DOCTORS NAME IN THE "NEW YORK STATE UNIFIED COURT SYSTEM". LOOK FOR ANY LAWSUITS AGAINST THE DOCTOR YOU HAVE CHOSEN. .... I DID THIS IN HINDSIGHT. I HAVE HAD RHINOPLASTY AND REVISION WITH DR GUIDA. HE IS VERY PERSONABLE, THE REASON I TRUSTED HIM. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD THINK AGAIN.[/b]

I had 3 breast revisions and if I went to doc. Bellin I'd probablly have the same issues. It seems like there are alot of docs who don't admit to their botched up work. I visited 25 surgeons for second opinions and none will agree to fix my breast because the risk is too high for a worse result and probably not worth the trouble after my 4 surgeries of. If anyone knows of a surgeon who has experience with D cup implant revisions I'd like to know about them. Right now my breast are two different sizes and I wear a pad in my left bra. For the past 2 years I have lost self esteem and don't wear tight shirts. I'm 25 and this is a nightmare but most docs tell me it could be alot worse. Is there anyone that can help?
