Hi. I`m pregnant and I have a cat. She`s practically the family and I wouldn`t like to remove her from home while I`m pregnant. I`ve heard something about toxoplasmosis and I would like to hear Are Pets Dangerous in any way during pregnancy?

Hi. Cats are not dangerous in any way during pregnancy! You can keep your cat. Let your partner clean the poo pan every day and you may rest peacefully. If you have your cat for a long time, you are immune to toxoplasmosis, and if you are not immune, you should know that the only way to catch that disease is to eat cat poo! And I think you won`t, so, no reason to be worried.
