Are abdominal pain and diarrhea side effects Prevacid?

Hello, I have problems with digesting. Actually, muscles between esophagus and stomach have weakened. Often, after the meal, the food returns from the stomach, and because of the HCl running around I have developed oesophagitis. Doctor prescribed me with Prevacid. Recently I experienced abdominal pain and diarrhea. Are those side effects of Prevacid?

I have been taking Prevacid for the same problems. It helped me a lot, I have to admit. It annulated the effect of HCL. As for symptoms you have mentioned, I am not so sure if they are related to this medication. Allergic reactions are different and include rash, throat swelling, chest pain…
