Are black cohosh supplements useful for menstrual cramps?

Hi! I’m 17 years old and I have very painful menstrual cramps. My mother always tells me that it’s not good for me to use painkillers but sometimes I can not stand that annoying pain. My friend told me that I should try black cohosh. Are black cohosh supplements useful for menstrual cramps?

Hi! I have same problem as you. I read in one book that young women suffering from difficult and painful menstruation and premenstrual syndrome have derived benefit from using black cohosh preparations. So I tried it and it works. I hope it will be helpful to you also. Good luck!
