I am 25 years old and 11 weeks pregnant. Prior to concieving, I preacticed FertilityAwareness and so I have been quite familiar with the cyclical changes that I could feel my cervix undergo. What I feel now is very different from anything that I noted before I was pregnant. My cervix feels very soft, and the os feels almost smoothly textured, not the small round dot of an opening that I had been used to. This is my first pregnancy. Is this normal, or something to be concerned about?

I have been searching the internet everywhere for the answer to that very same question. I have heard that a cap forms over the opening, but I have found nothing to substantiate that. If you find out please let me know at Paralegalstephanie@yahoo.com
