Are oral and intravaginal antifungal agents effective, safe for vulvovaginal candidiasis?

Hello, I am 23 years old and two months I had unprotected sex. In the start there were no consequences, but then some signs occurred. Those were vaginal itching, redness, yellowish secretion that occurred right before the period… I thought that this will pass shortly, but changes only intensified so I decided to take some pills for my condition. Are oral and intravaginal antifungal agents effective, safe for vulvovaginal candidiasis?

Depending on the type of antifungal therapy, it might help with removing candidiasis (no matter if the therapy is especially for Candida or some other fungal infection). It is a good thing that you have chosen combination of oral tablets and vaginalettes, because it is the only way to remove very persistent vaginal infections.
