I’m stressed a lot at work. I recently moved to another city where I found this new job and am getting settled in a nice house. But I feel lonely without my friends and family and the new friends I’m making suggested to try meth. Are side effects associated with chronic use of meth?

Don’t even think it! There are many side effects to using meth, besides addiction! Brain undergoes molecular and functional changes, addict exhibits violent behavior, anxiety, confusion, and insomnia and there are number of psychotic features, including paranoia, auditory hallucinations, mood disturbances, and delusions (for example, the sensation of insects creeping on the skin, called "formication").
