| My son lately had some symptoms he never had before. I thought that it was nothing but a passing virus, but I have decided to take him to a doctor. It proved to be a smart move, after several tests the diagnose was dust mite allergy. Since his brother already has pollen allergy, are symptoms of dust mite allergy similar to pollen allergy symptoms? |

| Yes, they are very similar. This is because both conditions are a result of the type 1 allergic reaction. As a result, high amount of histamine is produced and that lead to runny nose, allergic rhinitis, dry cough, throat itching, sneezing… As for the treatment, it is also the same, use of anti histamine meds and corticosteroids should help your sons. |
