Are there any side effects of taking vicodin while receiving cortisone injections?

I received a cortisone shot into my lower back on Friday afternoon and on Saturday eveing I took a 5mg Vicodin. On Sunday I awoke with my skin tender and painful to the touch and overall body and skin achiness. Is this a side effect of mixing the two medications?
