Are there different kinds of Tai Chi?

Hello. I would like to ask something. My girlfriend is persistent in practicing Tai Chi. She would like me to join her. I hear that it is great. Before I start, I would like to know whether there are different kinds of Tai Chi. I will really appreciate your replies and suggestions. Thanks.

Hello. There are many types of Tai Chi. Perhaps there are dozens. There are four or five main styles. Chen, Yang and Hao are the most important. There numerous minor styles. I have heard about Fu and Sun minor styles. I suggest you to find several instructors and see which styles they teach their students. Talk to the students as well to get the info about the instructor. I hope you will manage. Bye!
