Arm tingling, chest pain

Hi, my father is 58 years old and he complained that his arm is tingling and he felt chest pain few days ago. He is also smoking for many years so I am afraid that it may be caused by heart problems. I told him to visit his doctor but he is pretty stubborn and he told me that he is fine now. I am afraid because of this and I don't know what to do.

Hi, my brother had similar problems and symptoms last year and when he visited his doctor he told him that he had smaller heart infarction. I guess he was pretty lucky that something worse didn't happen so I suggest you to talk with your father and tell him that arm tingling and chest pain may be symptoms of heart stroke. Also you would tell him that nothing bad will happen to him and medication will help him to feel better.
