I have pain on left side of my chest and weird sensation in armpit. I am 43yr.old female and pain began 1yr ago, sporadically, sometimes middle of the night, lasting for minutes to hours. I am waiting for ultrasound, I did initial stress test and it appeared normal, still waiting for cardiolite stress test. I should mention that I have a history of kidney disorders, should I be concerned?

I too get a pain under my left breast, chest and it comes and goes. One doc told me that if the pain comes on suddenly and leaves suddenly it’s not cardiac. I sometimes also get the sensation in left armpit as well. I ended up in the er on evening with the pain under my left breast, since then I have that on and off all the time. I took two tums and it helped within a matter of minutes.
