Hi! My father has dementia. He was 69 years old when it struck him. Dementia is a syndrome consisting of a number of symptoms that include loss of memory and changes in mood and behavior. And sometimes you can not notice when it begin. It can strike adults at any age, but occurs most commonly in people over 65.
