| My father has just been diagnosed with atherosclerosis, breathing problems were his main symptom. Beside that, he tired easily, generally felt bad, he also felt pain during physical activity etc. He was given medications to start the therapy but I am also interested in how to prevent this condition. What should he do exactly to achieve that? |

| Atherosclerosis might be prevented, but this can only be done up to a certain point. Lifestyle adjustments has to be applied – just a bit or no fat in food, small amounts of sugar also, a lot of fish, fruit , vegetables, vitamins etc. He must perform light daily exercises, he should avoid stress and get plenty of rest. |
