Hi all. I’ve had a problem with my menstral cycle while doing atkins diet. Can anybody here tell me if this is normal?? I’ve been on it for 8-9 days and my cycle has come a week early… Please reply.
Yes, that is normal and it is not uncommon. Nevertheless, it should to be discussed with your GYN just to make sure that something else was not the cause. Same thing happened to me few times – even though it was nothing serious, it made me reconsider the diet.
Hello My name is Suzie, and I have been on the Atkins induction phase for 3 weeks now, and my period normally lasts for 4 days and its heavy for a couple of days. Now that Im on this diet my period was light and so far I still have my period this is 8 days going on now.... Is this the high protein diet doing this????
