Hi I am a 35 yr old female who gets paps on a regular basis. Actually I have been going every 6months because my pap reveals I have atypical cells. My Dr keeps telling me not to worry, but I am is this going to eventually turn into cancer? Also I have heard if you use dildos, have sex etc... that can cause an abnormal. I dont have sex with my husband at least 3 days before my visit. Any advice? Should I see another dr? Mine ob/gyn just has me coming back ever 6months oh and my hpv is always neg. Any advice would be great.
Thanks Julie

Sex toys can't cause cancer. If your partner has An STD such as HPV, it can cause A typical cell growths. There are other ways as well...but just go see the doctor regularly. There is no sense in worrying until the doctor says so.
