Recently I had routine mammography. My doctor said that I might have atypical ductal hyperplasia. In order to be sure he suggested doing some more tests. I have never heard about this condition. Since then I started to worry a lot because my mother and my aunt, both died from breast cancer. Is it possible that this condition can provoke breast cancer in me?

You do not need to be worried. I was diagnosed with the same disease ten years ago. I do my regular doctors checking and use my medications properly and I have not problems. My doctor told me that there is small possibility to develop breast cancer. So my advice to you is to follow doctor's orders and to live your life like a normal person which you are.
