Autism and Asperger's related?

Hi, can someone explain me how are autism and Asperger’s related. My child is not precisely diagnosed yet, since he has some kind of autistic disorder.

Hi, I know that Asperger's Disorder is a milder form of Autistic Disorder. Asperger's Disorder differs from autistic disorder by social isolation and eccentric behavior in persons with normal speech skills and communication abilities. There are problems in achieving two-sided social interaction. Non-verbal communication is unknown to Asperger syndrome patients. They have peculiar speech manners and a repetitive pattern. Clumsiness is often seen and articulation and gross motor behavior can be impaired.
