I've been taking aviane for about 5 months now. A week before my "period week", I started to bleed. Not heavily, but it looked like old blood. Now, I'm on my period week and I am only spotting? What is happening? I haven't had unprotected sex and I've been taking the pill between the same time frame (12am-3:00am) every day. Any ideas?

This exact same thing is happening to me. My partner and I always use a condom and I have been on Aviane for five months now taking it every day at the same time and a week before my period week I began bleeding. Now that I am on my period week there is only faint spotting. Does anyone know what this means?
