Azulfidine EN-tabs prescribed for Rheumatoid arthritis

My mother is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for five years. Her biggest problem is the pain, of course. Beside that, she also feels insecure while walking, her legs are trembling. She has been taking several medications, most of them NSAID, but she complains that he effect is not as strong as it should be. Could Azulfidine EN-tabs be prescribed for this condition?

Hmm, that drug has a long effect but it is used to deal with inflammation process in colon, not joints. This is because it has a strong affinity to intestines. Since it does affect inflammation mediators, which might be the reason you thought it might help your mother. I have been dealing with the same condition, but was never prescribed with that drug.
