Can someone tell me if blood stained discharge sign of something serious? I have noticed that this is happening to me. I am worried that something is really wrong. What do you think is happening?
Instead of worrying you can do something else. You can go to your doctor and find out what is happening with you. Blood stained vaginal discharge can be the sign of many infectious disorders, vaginosis, vulvar vestibulitis etc. It is important to keep your genital area clean and dry. You should also avoid douching and using oils for lubricants. Also, to prevent all kinds of infections from happening you should use condoms during sexual intercourse with new partners. However, condoms often offer little protection. The most common infections are bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, and monilia or yeast infection. Most of infections are common and every woman will experience some form of them in the lifetime. Some of the signs and symptoms are soreness, itching and burning during urination. Any radical change in the amount and color of the secretion may be a sign of an infection. I hope that I was clear enough.
