 Hihi. I just wanted to get someone's opinion on this. I've been take lorazepam for only about three months and at the most 1mg daily. I've decided I'm going to stop using it only because it seems in the long run daily use, do to addiction and impairment of cognitirve abilities, isn't recommeded. I usually take 1mg at bedtime, which helps me sleep, I've instead decided to take one unisom at bed an .5 mg of lorazepem over the last week. Last night I just took unisom without the benzo and tried to sleep. Terrible experience. I felt like I was totally gonna die I was so sick. Hot flashes, insomnia, crawling feeling under skin, abdominal pain, pounding head. Ugh. Now I'm scared to continue with withdrawl. What is the recommended course for quitting this particular medication? Also, is it allright with the unisom? I don't know if they have an effect on each other. Thanks. |
