Hi. I'm 45 year old men and before this occurred to me, I consider my self to be very healthy man.
About two months ago I experienced some very strange symptoms like vomiting and strange eye movements (nystagmus).
I thought I was caused by my chronic tiredness because in a past six months I had to work two different jobs to support my family.
But, after these symptoms I started to feel symmetric tingling or burning pain in the extremities.
I didn’t contact any doctor but my good friend told me that this could be caused by lack of some vitamin. Is this true?

Yes, it is true! Your friend told you one very useful information. There is one disease called Beriberi that can cause similar symptoms.
Beriberi is a vitamin deficiency disease caused by inadequate bodily stores of thiamine (vitamin B1).
Symptoms of Beriberi include pain, tingling, or loss of sensation in hands and feet, muscle wasting with loss of function or paralysis of the lower extremities.
I will tell you some informations about groceries that consist this vitamin.
Thiamin is not present in fats, oils, and refined sugars and is destroyed by heat, pasteurization, and ionizing radiation. Good dietary sources of thiamin are whole grains, lean pork, and legumes.
So, you know now what to do! Good luck!
