the best advice i can think of, and i know it's hard to do but if it's buggin you this much, you've gota go see your doctor. doctors are professionals, they don't laugh or judge. who knows, maybe there's nothing wrong with your nips and there's an easy solution to it. Very Happy i know it's really hard to tell someone face to face about something your embarassed about but that few minutes of tension is better than spending another summer hidding right? well i hope you find some help and everything works out

(i'm 17)

I am not 100% sure, but as puberty goes on/finishes they will start to well i don't know of a better word for this but, deflate.. i get them once in a while (im 17) its getting less and less frequent i have notice.. just wait and don't be worried about it, i know girls get it, i was until my friend was like yeah i had that it sucked but everyone i knew once had them so it made me feel better..

Please please please don't be afraid to see a doctor. I was pre med in college and worked in the hospitals. Doctors and nurses see things everyday that you or I would find shocking. I used to be extremely self concious, modest and insecure when I was younger too, but now I know better. My best friend is a physician and the things that she has dealt with are amazing, surprising and sometimes unbelievable, but for her it is all in a days work. To her the cases she handles are classified in one of two ways; routine or challenging. She prefers the challenging cases. Doctors are really scientists and have a natural curiosity. They are puzzle solvers (the good ones are). There are good ones and bad ones, and hopefully you will find one that is compassionate and interested in what is going on with your body. A good doctor will welcome the challenge of a unique situation (I doubt your's is as unique as you think) and strive to solve the problem while showing sensitivity to your feelings. The only problem with being desensitized to diverse bodily ailments or functions is that sometimes they are so unfazed by things they see that they fail to show compassion. I promise you that no one will think you are a freak. The reason we have doctors is because we know that the body will always surprise us with doing the unexpected. So, ironically, the "abnormal" is really not abnormal at all. Doctors are trained to expect the unexpected. I don't want to minimize your feelings at all, but I have to tell you that your situation does not sound that bad (I have seen some very strange things). Don't be ashamed at all. You will be fine, but you do need to talk with someone. I suggest your pediatrician or a dermatologist. Have you tried talking with your parents first. I have two children and I have learned not to be surprised by anything (they are very open with me). I used to be afraid to tell my parents what was going on with my body too, but now that I have my own I know that those fears were unfounded. I know as a parent that I want nothing more than for my child to trust me completely. I love them more than anyone else and so will do whatever I can to ensure their wellbeing. But for me to do a good job as their parent I must have their trust. Your parents should be your biggest advocates. If you don't feel you can tell your parents you need to tell someone you trust. Just sharing your secret with someone will make you feel alot better. Then you can take the next step and see a doctor. You will be just fine.

it need not be a problem, I'm a guy and I had breasts since I was 13, with big puffy nipples too! My partner can't keep his hands off them.
