Call me conservative but I wouldn’t be thinking about this option at all.
From my point of you, you never can tell if st. Johns would work for you or not and not treating bipolar means that there is a possibility of developing rapid cycling and also become resistant to treatments.
Although Lamictal can be pretty weird at times, especially when you first start taking it, it got me to a satisfactory level now. Plus, I read that st. johns can cause mania.
