15 months ago I gave birth to my second child. It was a very quick labour, one hour from start to finish. After giving birth I temporarily lost my eyesight for approx. 11 hours. The doctors could not find any reson for this. The day before going into labour I was admitted into hospital with a gastro bug, so i was a little weak at the time.
I am now thinking of having another child but am very concerned about whether or not this could happen again and whether it could be permanent next time. No one can tell me why this happened. Should I risk giving birth agian.
if anyone can help me I would really apprecialte it.
I have never heard of this situation taking place, if your doctors have no explination for it, perhaps you might want to have some eye tests ran and a brain scan as well. Just a consideration. Every pregnancy and delivery is different.
