Could someone tell me how long it takes the birth control pill to take effect before it is safe to have sex. I have been off the pill for 1 year but would like to start back on it. I am considering having sex with a condom but want to be on the pill as well.
you can have sex when taking the birth control whenever you please. It takes about a month to work to full effect. I would suggest using condoms when starting birth control.
