Birth control pill questions

i'm 16 this year, and on last monday i took the morning after pill because my bf's condom broke. i'm suposed to get my period this week, so i'm still waiting for my period to come. i really hope the pill worked. (soon i hope)

anyway, i was wondering whether i could take the birth control pill just incase. after the condom incident i'd rather be extra cautious. so i want to know whether it is safe for me to take the 21day pill? i'd really like to know soon, thanks.

The EXACT same thing happened to me when i was 16! The condom broke and i took the morning after pill and i was worried that it wouldnt work but it did. I got my period one and half or two weeks later, i got it a bit earlier than it normally would have come. Then after this incident i got scared so i started using the pill, but the pill doesnt start working until two weeks after you start taking it. I recommend the pill, it makes me feel soo much safer.
