My period is suppose to start in a week and a half....i have been off birth control since Dec. 2005 and had bad periods since. Now that they seem normal I had sex with my husband right before this strange brown,almost black, thick mucus discharge started. It has gotten so heavy I have had to use tampons and things to get it all. Now today I have huge dark blood clots. I need to know if this could be normal, or some wierd sign that I am pregnant. We are not "trying" but we are not doing anything to stop it. Please any info would be nice b/c I do not currently have health insurance so I cant just go to the doctor.
