Black discharge at the end of my menstrual cycle

I was really scared yesterday when for the first time, at the end of my menstrual cycle, I had this foul smelling black discharge.....i thought it might be old blood but nonetheless it scared because it is the first time this has happened.

i dont have any other symptoms...no pressure, no pain...maybe just a little bloating and discomfort during my cycle but that is all....why could this be happening ? I am 36 years old...could I be experiencing menopause ? I really hope not because I want to have kids. Please help. Embarassed

im only 16, but i experience that too sometimes at the end of my cycle.
i dont know why its darker, but it pretty much always is, and ive never had any problems with my periods, so i just go with the flow!
if you're really worried go get it checked out :]
