Black substance released during urination

I am a 30 year old male and I have been experiencing burning while urinating for some time now. The other day at work I went to the bathroom and noticed a black object in the toilet that had come out of my urine stream. The only way I could describe it is to say it looked like a balled up baby spider. Is that even possible??

I have been feeling better since that day when I urinate, but I want to a, know what the heck that was and b, make sure it isn't a sign of a STD.

Although i have never experienced this on my own (being 18 ) however, this sounds like it was a kidney stone. Especially after having passed the dark object you've felt better when urinating since then. Other than that, i can't think of anything else that would cause something like that.

A burning sensation is usually related to damage or a bacterial infection. But again, with the relief after passing the object... it doesn't look to fall into those two catagories as the pain would still be getting worse. Smile
