| Im 17 and just lost my virginity on the weekend,not to a boyfriend of any sort,to a friend of a friend.We used a condom and it was perfectly alright.I know that when you have sex for the first time that you bleed a bit afterwards,but that has continued even 2 days onwards.In the morning i wake up with a tiny pain and need to go to the toilet and then it even hurts when i have to pee!I dont want my parents to know that im sexually active now and since you have to pay to go and see your doctor in Ireland everytime,i dont think that i would be able to keep it a secret.What can i do and what is wrong with me? |

The bleeding is probably due to your hymen being broken and some girls bleed for a few days while others bleed just that day.
I had just a huge bedsheet stain.
As for the burning, you could have contracted cystitis. It is bacteria infections that occurs often in women who had just lost virginity.
Try drinking a lot of water for a few days and if it continues to burn, then you should tell your parents about the problem. Don't worry, other women get these bacterial infections, so it doesn't necesarilly have to mean you contracted it sexually.
For example, if a girl wipes the wrong way, from the anus to the top of vagina, she is very likely to bring bacteria to the urethra from the anal opening. |
