Good Morning, Afternoon, or evening. Depending on when you are reading this.
My Name is unimportant, so You may just call me Nova, as my alias. I'm an 18 year old Female, that lives in the united States. having just turned 18, on November 16th, I began to think that I should start getting on the pill. But before I did, here's a little back story to why I'm worried.
I have been dating my Boyfriend, Lets call him Chaos, For a little over a year now. We were both virgins when we dated, and We first had Sex, on my 18th.
It was fine, and I bleed very little. We were unprotected, mainly because I trust him to much. And We have both been tested for STD's and we make it a habit to give blood when we can.
I had my period A week afterwards, So I know I was not pregnant.
On the 4th of December, I went to my doctors. I Had always had Irregular Periods. Sometimes they'd come for a month, and leave for three months. And Sometimes they would be heavy, and then some very light.
So My Doctor put me on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. Tablets.
I Started taking the Placebos that day as directed, but I also got the Shot for Cervical Cancer that day. She told me it was fine because the placebos were sugar pills.
Everything Was fine till about the 16th of December, Then i noticed I was spotting. I looked it up online, and it said It was normal. So I didn't presure it. And it stopped the next day.
Then on the 19th When my boyfriend and I tried to have sex again. I said tried, because I started bleeding. A lot, like my period Started. My Boyfriend freaked out, and I went home. It was no big deal to me, I was just thinking this time he broke my Hymen, and the first time he didn't really break it.
I went home and took a bath, and tried to relax. I noticed that I was still bleeding. I thought maybe I had a lot more blood then normal. I went to bed early, because amazingly, unlike my periods my stomach was cramping horribly.
After four days, i was still bleeding like this, I talked to my friends. She told me this was normal, that my hormones were unbalanced. So I just let it go. After about 8 days, I started having heavy blood clots. And I was going to the bathroom every 30 minutes. They were all black. And After that I called my doctor.
She Was out, as she won't be back till Tomorrow, for its her Christmas Vacation, but I talked with her nurse. She told me that just to treat it like any normal period, that it was normal for abnormal bleeding for the first month of birth control. She told me to just keep taking the pills as directed ( and I take them at 7:26 every Morning).
So I kept it up, drinking lots of Orange Juice, Chocolate, Avoiding salt, Taking nice long baths, and wondering whats wrong. My boyfriend came by and visited me almost daily. He was giving me iron pills, forcing me to take at least two a day, because I was turning pale, and I couldn't get warm.
I am normally paler then most, and My fingers don't really conduct heat, as well I'm a little obese for being 5'9. But this was different.
So I'm still bleeding, its a little lighter at the moment, But I just restarted the placebos for my pills, So that means 7 days of Expected bleeding for a period.
Could anyone Tell me whats wrong, or could be wrong? I have read over everyone else's posts, and have looked online, offline, talked to some people down at the clinic, but they really can't tell me anything.
I'm Thinking that maybe I could be Anemic, or possibly.... Infertile? Seeing as how much blood I lost.
From the 16th till yesterday. i weighed my Self. When I started bleeding I was 255 Pounds... When I checked yesterday. I was 230 Pounds.
Anyones advice Can be helpful! And If you need to know anymore, I'd be happy to give it. |
