| its been 25 days from abortion and i havent stopped bleeding yet. today i went for checkup n doctor said dat pregnancy test showed dat i m slightly pregnant. i dont get it at all. do i have to have an abortion again? somebody please help me!!! |

its possible your abortion didn't work or didn't work completely.
go and see your doc again, depending on the number of weeks you were/are at depends on treatment now - they may be able to give you a drug such as misoprostol or you may need a d&v (dilatation and curettage) to finish it all off!

Sugarpie, you need to get back to your Doctor, or maybe another one for that matter. I had an abortion when i was 27 years old. The Doctors claim the procedure went according to plan and claimed that all the product of conception was extracted. Well.........
3 weeks after, i was still bleeding, like a period. I woke up one morning and was so incredibly sick. With a temp of 103 and every bone in my body aching, i called the Doctor. He was not in, this was a Sunday morning. I decided to wait until Monday, bad idea. By 11 o clock Sunday nite i wanted to die. I went to the hospital in an ambulance where they did an emergeny D and C which is a dialation and curettage.
My abortion failed the first time. The emergency room Doctors found quite a lot of product still there and i had a severe infection. They were afraid that things would go toxic which meant i could have died. I was in the hospital for 5 days with IV antibiotics and i felt like crap.
Fortunatly, i got much better as soon as the antibiotics started kicking in.
Don't mess with this hon, trust me. Infection can start any time. You may feel fine today but wake up sick tomorrow. |
