Bleeding after having sex - a day before menstruation

i had sex with my husband this morning, after the whole things, i found out that i was bleeding but it stopped before afternoon. I checked my pad, it was only dark blood i saw not red blood that came out in the morning. And am expecting my menstruation tomorrow. what could have caused it.

I have this sometimes. I believe its caused by polops. bumps on the cervix that can bleed after intercourse. I havnt been to the doc about this but im pretty sure. Ive heard they can be cancerous but they also occur after giveing birth too. so since i noticed mine only after i had a baby i figure thats what it is. I also have been checking my cm becuase were ttc and i actually felt the bumps.

I have heavy bleeding after sex, which is red blood and it is so heavy, It can go on for aday or might stop within hours. This normally occurs ten days before my period, and happens most times i have sex running up to my period. I thought i had Polops but i haven't. I've been to hospital and had several tests, they can find nothing wrong, so i am still none the wiser and find this whole episode worrying. It has been happening for well over a year now. I would go and get your self checked just to be on the safe side.
