| I had sex for the first time and around 20 hours later I began to bleed fairly heavily. This has now continued for around 15 hours. It is much the same as a period, but my last period was only 8 days ago. I also have a headache and am feeling sick. What could the problem be? |

I would suggest going to see your gynocologist. Its normal to bleed after your first sexual experience but only some spotting, you shouldnt bleed heavily unless he tore you pretty bad. As far as headaches and feeling sick, are these normal symptoms of your period? I almost want to say that either your period wasnt completely over or maybe the sex triggered it to start again. If there is tissue in the blood that you are discharging it might be your period, but i still highly suggest seeing a doctor to make sure it isnt something more serious.

i agree with above. I bled after my first time, so i was about to reassure you that it's normal...but, i have never heard of such heavy bleeding. If it's like your period flow definitely go see a doctor. My friend told me once that her period had ended, then she had sex, and it just started the flow up again.
You never know, go check it out. |
