Bleeding slightly during ovulation, then brown spotting/discharge until period is due?

Hi,

I was bleeding slightly very lightly during my ovulation time, and sicne then i have had pinkish, brown discharge/ spotting. I am due to have my period on the 12th of this month.
Me and my partner are trying to concieve so I am not sure as to what is happening to my body?

does any one have any advice??
