Blood and mucus on stool and rectum - help worried 20 yr old mother of 2 please

I get a bad stomach ache before I have to go to the bathroom I believe that some of the blood on my stool and paper is from rectal tears probably but i have mucus too more often than not. I am young so I am doubting cancer of any type but at this rate I don't know and I am just keeping the thought in mind because of my kids. I want to do some investigating but I don't know what to search for. It seems that no one has the same thing I do. My paper is BRIGHT red, somtimes with very small clots but they could also just be mucus (though I think the first is a better assumption to the looks of it).

Has anyone ever gone through this? Should I be worried or should I just buy som stool softener and deal with it? Anyone know how to help?

I have the same symptoms, and they told me it was ulcerative colitis. But of course you'll need to see a gastroenterologist who could do an examination and a biopsy to ensure that it's not Krohn's Disease.

it could also be crohns disease or coeliac disease. i suffer from crohns disease and have the symptoms you have and some. there is also a possibility that you have a food allergy. have you been eating anything new lately? have you been going to the toilet more than once a day? an infection is another possibility. your doctor will be able to do some test or refer you for further examination.
