Hello there. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year now. We had intercourse about 10-12 days after my last period (my period finished on the 6th day) and then on the 14th day, I discharged a thick blood mucus-like clot. What does this mean? Does it mean that there could have been conception but it failed? Please help!

Did you have a lot of cramping too? If so, it could have been a miscarriage. If not, you may have irritated your cervix. Or it could be something else entirely. Go see your doctor.

No, there was no cramping. It was followed by 2 days of brown mucus-like discharge. Could that indicate anything, before I go see a doctor? Tq so much!
