Blood in stool with no other symptoms

For the past week, I've had quite a bit of blood in my stool with no other symptoms whatsoever and I was wondering what could be the cause of this.

If this information helps any, I used to eat a lot of junk food (ice cream, cookies, candies, and just stuff loaded with sugar) and I started cutting down on them the 4th of January, does that have anything to do with this sudden change in my body?

The blood was not dry, it's still bright red and drips into the bowl while passing bowel movements but it doesn't hurt at all. I have been a little tired lately, but I think that was due to the severe lack of sugar in my diet.
