Bloody Diarrhea - antibiotics did not help

I went to the hospital for bloody diarrhea that i had for a week and was not getting better. The doctor took a stool and blood sample. He gave me some antiobiotics thinking it was food poisoning. It has been two weeks and it is still here. I've still got lower abdominal pain. Can someone tell me what to do now?

hey this was posted last year so you probably got the diarrhea taken care of. But if anyone else has this problem go to your doctor and get a referral to a GI doctor and get a colonoscopy, prolonged bloody diarrhea can be from ulcerative colitis or chrone's disease.
