| i've been to boston medical group and tried their treatment. it's all a myth. you will be required to buy a lot of medicine and you urself will need to inject it into the penis. that is awfull experience and does not work in real life, since self administering this drug can only cause negative effect. |

wow.. i feel pretty dumb.. i was there just 2 days ago.. and was stupid enough to fall for it. only this morning, 2 days later, did i decide to look them up and found your experiences. since they have a cancellation policy requiring you to call within something like 20 hours.. i'm past that and they ofcourse wont cancel. shortly after the "package" arrived.. but not i dont want to even attempt to try it after what i'm reading about others experience. I have no desire to go to the hospital or damage my unit.
so i guess the only thing i can do is throw it away? any other suggestions? |

| It works. The injection is not overly painful at all. I use this medication and the injection method in the base of the penis. Boston Medical Group charges reasonably for the office visit but then outrageously for the medication, but they will provide a prescription for an outside supplier, which must be a compounding laboratory (use Google or Yahoo to find one in your area). However, it took several phone calls and a lot of waiting and complaining before they finally faxed the Rx to the independent compounding lab I chose. This lab provided a much lower price for the medication. From someone who has had ED all his life, and not found good alternatives in Viagra, etc. IT IS ALL WORTH IT. Also the compounding lab recommended a local MD who will renew the Rx for me at a reasonable office fee. |

I have used Boston Medical for the last year and found thier treatment effective and non painful, however their price for the medicine is outrageous, and I was informed last trip that the price was going even higher. I talked with doctor, and did some research re labs that produce a similar drug.
Applied Pharmacy Services Mobile Al, produces a product called Tri Mix, and comes freeze dried so you dont have the Ice all the time, you mix the freeze dried product with sterile water prepacked in a siringe, and using 20 units I have the same result as using 30 units from Boston Med,
This works out to 5 doses in one kit,and the kits are 16.50,or $3 .30 a treatment, versus $33.00 for the Boston Medical supplied drugs.
It appears that you could just go to a urologist armed with some information and get it without the $1200, up front fee at BM |

got shuffled from room to room, spots on the carpet and walls, the office was extremely dirty and most likely unsanitary.
whole place looked like one of those black market hospitals where they do illegal organ transplants
they promised male only but the receptionist was a female and her friend (her friend was possibly another employee.)
i was stupid and paid for it too. i feel really stupid for doing so and can't cancel either.
this lesson cost me $2000 total
their a scam, stay away from these people |

| stay away from these people. COMPLETE SCAM. i went to one of their offices in new york. when i went in, i sat in a room for 20 minutes and filled out some paper work, then i went in and met with the doctor. He injected the medicine and told me to go back into the other room which i came from for 10 minutes and i'll have an erection by then. well it didn't work. i had nothing and the most frustrating part was the doctor was trying to convince me that i did have an erection! he then told me if i wasn't satisfied with my "erection" that he could prescribe me a stronger dose which will definitely work. then he told me to go to talk to his assistant to discuss payment options. when i got there, it was some 20 yr old kid who wasn't a doctor telling me to take off my pants so he could see if the medication was working. i just left at that point. I got scammed out of the $250 consultation visit but i feel really sorry for those who go for the medication which is like $1200. Please stay away!!! This is not a medical service at all. its a sleezy business scam |

My expirence with BMG has been very different. Agreed the clinics look rundown and threadbare; agreed the sales guy is pushy; agreed the medication is over priced compared to using an compounding pharmacy; but I disagree that its a scam. The medication works - for the first time in 20 years I have a rock solid erection, the injection is nothing. THe insulin needle is so small I can barely feel it pierce the skin. Within 15 mins, I'm ready to go. The erection does tend to last longer then they say - I've had them last as long as 6 hours. Before anyone comments, priapism is a "painful" erection lasting longer than 4 hours. I've never had any pain with mine and two urologists I've talked to say that without pain you can go much longer without worry. My only concern with BMG is they say that they will cure ED within 6 months, this is based on one small sample study that has never been duplicated. However I'm willing to go the rest of my life with the injections because the work. However I will be getting a script from a urologist and getitng the medication from somewhere else.
But in summary, Boston Medical did what they said they would do. |
